The Athlete Academy Programme (AAP) is an evidence based, long term athlete development pathway, created to provide high quality strength and conditioning (S&C) to athletes, not only to prepare them for the demands of their sport, but also for everyday life. A long-term athlete development (LTAD) pathway is full of rewards, and with hard work, consistency and dedication, plus the support of the Advance coaches and fellow athletes, everyone can reach their full potential.

Created for young athletes 10+, a continuation from our Junior Athlete Academy. Athletes continue to learn new skills, develop their strength, reduce injury risk and monitor their development.

WHY JOIN US

Learn & practice the fundamental lifts

Book into the Prepare to Lift course to learn the fundamental lifts.

Perform regular strength training

Perform training in the gym or book into a class. Plan to complete a least two sessions per week.

Monitor and track your progress

Use our app to track and monitor your progress.

Eat real food

Reduce process foods and ultra processed foods. Eat real food and nutrition to fuel your training and recovery.

Allow for recovery and rest

Learn to find balance in your lifestyle and training.

Stay motivated and supported

Receive support and guidance from your coach and the team.

Absolutely. There is an abundance of research suggesting that lifting load at a young age is both safe, and effective for improving sporting performance and reducing injury likelihood.
Our AAP sessions run for 10yrs-15yrs.
Monday to Thursday 5-6pm and Friday 6-7pm.
Our recommended age for Junior AAP is 6yrs-9yrs.
This course is for children of all abilities to help prepare them for a future of sport participation. The Junior AAP programme takes all the best bits of our AAP programme with elements of strength, power and speed developed through exposure to fun, play based activities such as tag, wrestling, parkour and climbing.
Mondays 6-7pm and Fridays 5-6pm.
