Prepare to Lift

Learn the fundamental lifts and gain confidence with an 8 week, coach led course. Prepare to Lift has been created for individuals new to strength training and those looking to gain more from their lifts and training.

Normally when signing up for a gym membership one would receive a quick, one-off induction and then be left to their own devices frantically trying to work out what training to do (whilst watching training videos on YouTube), however, at the lab we do things differently…

Here our Prepare to Lift community are coached through an eight-week programme by an experienced team of strength coaches. By installing our free app, you’ll follow additional programmes (Lab membership included) to further practice your lifts. You will upload and track your training loads and volume, all important factors of the Strength Code.

As you progress through the course you will be coached through speed and plyometrics drills, concluding with an introduction to Olympic Lifting. Perfect for those that are looking to learn or improve your Olympic weightlifting, for example the snatch and clean and jerk, which will be covered along with easy to learn derivatives.

Our Prepare to Lift programme sets you up perfectly to then follow a tailor-made programme, whilst also attending any of our long list of additional classes including Strongman, Lightning, Strong, and our female only lifting sessions.
