An important element to a Long-Term Athlete Development Programme is regular testing of the athlete, squad members and teams.  If you are coaching athletes, young or more mature, it is essential to monitor their physical development and to analyse trends and potential gaps.

We offer high-quality athlete testing, built upon the National Strength and Conditioning guidelines and protocols, to test qualities such as relative strength, reactive strength, acceleration and power.

Our testing events not only provide a way to monitor each athletes development but our experienced team of coaches will provide education on everything related to S&C. We also provide detailed reports on each athlete via our easy to use athlete management software, to further enhance your LTAD programme.

Performance testing is beneficial for a number of reasons. Testing can provide a bench mark for current performance, as well as being utilised to set benchmarks and goals. We can also use performance testing to identify aspects of your training that require more focus than others.
We have state-of-the-art equipment here at Advance, including Vald Force Plates, Speed Gates, and more. This allows us to cover a variety of performance tests.
Absolutely! We test both teams and individuals, so if you are interested, please do get in touch.
If you are an individual athlete, the testing process lasts around an hour, including warm ups, running through testing protocol and running the actual tests. For teams, the testing period varies but most teams/schools book a 3 hour session.
Yes you do! Our reports provide a 1-5 score on each physical quality tested, based on normative data for that specific test.
