Robbie leads the Advance Performance Lab and brings over 20 years of experience working with youth and adult athletes across a wide range of sports. His philosophy combines science-driven programming with practical application, helping coaches develop a professional standard of delivery in any environment. Robbie has built Advance Performance into a respected provider of athlete development and coach education in the UK.

Lauren Strong, BSc (Hons) Sport & Exercise Science

Lab Manager & Strength and Conditioning Coach
Lauren manages day-to-day operations at the Advance Performance Lab and supports athlete testing, programming, and coach mentoring. With a background in sport and exercise science and extensive experience in both applied performance settings and youth development, she plays a key role in integrating evidence-based practice into the lab’s daily operations. Lauren’s focus is on helping learners gain confidence in assessment, communication, and delivery.

Harry Knock, BSc (Hons) Sports Coaching Science

Performance Director & Chelsea FC Strength and Conditioning Coach
Harry combines academic expertise with hands-on elite-level experience. As Performance Director at Advance Performance and an S&C coach at Chelsea FC, he specialises in athlete monitoring, applied strength training, and long-term athlete development. His background in sports coaching science and professional football gives learners insight into the standards and expectations of top-tier performance environments.

Steve Wyatt, MSc Strength & Conditioning

Lecturer and Coach Educator
Steve brings over 20 years of experience as a lecturer in strength and conditioning and sport science, alongside practical coaching work with athletes at multiple levels. His academic and applied expertise ensures learners develop a strong understanding of the science underpinning performance, while mastering how to apply it effectively in the field.
